Safety at #XYPNLIVE 2021

Keeping #XYPNLIVE Safe

Community is the heartbeat of XYPN; it’s the steam engine that powers our movement forward and why we do what we do. We’re beyond excited to get the community back together in-person. We’re also fully committed to ensuring the safety of all #XYPNLIVE attendees. If you’re planning on joining us in Denver, we want to share our health and safety plan as it currently stands. We will continue to monitor all guidelines and recommendations, and make adjustments as needed. One thing we’ve all learned over the last 18 months is things change quickly and it’s important for us to remain agile.

Hotel Health and Safety

The Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel will be our beautiful (sparkling) venue; the hotel’s health and safety guidelines can be found here. In the state of Colorado, group gatherings are currently at 100% capacity.

We will continue to monitor this guideline between now and #XYPNLIVE 2021 and will communicate all changes as they are updated, making sure you don’t miss a thing. Watch the hotel's safety video, Confidence to Connect, here

Wait, what’s plan B?

Us XYPNers are an optimistic bunch, but we’re also planners—and down-to-earth ones at that. While we are incredibly hopeful that we’ll be able to come together safely in Denver by the time November rolls around (seriously—seeing all of your faces in person is the stuff of our dreams), we absolutely have a plan B. We’re ready to host an entirely virtual—and still entirely awesome—event if need be. In that case, attendees and exhibitors can either receive a full refund or roll their registration over to 2022.

Testing FAQ

How close to the event date should I take a COVID–19 diagnostic test?

Tests should be taken within 72 hours of your flight or travel plans. More information on community-based testing sites for COVID–19 is available here.

Do we require a specific type of COVID-19 diagnostic test?

Either a negative PCR or rapid test is acceptable.

Does my child have to provide a negative COVID test too?

All children ages 2–11 must wear a mask if they do not provide a negative COVID test. Individuals 12 and older must obtain a negative COVID test.

What documentation do I need to provide?

You will need to show a paper or electronic copy of your negative test result for review by XYPN personnel in order to receive your badge.

Where and when do I provide the documentation?

Submit an electronic copy of your results here or show a paper or electronic copy on-site at registration.

Will you provide rapid testing on-site?

No, we encourage all attendees to get tested before traveling. Those who are unable to provide this documentation will need to arrange a test locally, and only those who test negative will be allowed entry into the event. Local testing information is available here.

What are my options if I am unable to attend because I have been exposed to a positive COVID–19 case or am experiencing COVID-like symptoms?

We’d love for you to join us for the virtual experience. All content sessions will be made available on-demand if you can’t join in real-time.

Are masks required?

While masks are currently not required, we strongly encourage all attendees to wear one. Members of Team XYPN will be wearing face coverings.
