This 2-Day course helps planners understand the actual drivers and biases around money and the innocent/habitual messages on which clients base their financial decisions. After going through a series of listening exercises and illustrative storytelling of the Seven Stages philosophy, you’ll be able to recognize the signs of each of the stages and how to best support your client’s unique situation. Graduates find themselves to be better listeners and better equipped to deeply understand their client’s and their own money drivers and biases. The course introduces the EVOKE® Life Planning methodology as a framework for prompting open-ended conversations that help you know your client and how they ascribe meaning to money. EVOKE® is a signature series of meetings that help you guide clients to discover and live into their lives of greatest meaning.
A companion to George Kinder’s book, The Seven Stages of Money Maturity, which pioneered the financial life planning movement over 20 years ago, this is a course that benefits you both personally and professionally to become more independent and assured in your relationship with money.
