Tools for the Modern Advicer

For a large majority of advisors, the value of financial planning is ascribed to the products that they sell. But when the product of financial planning isn’t advice, it’s easy to see why investing in the advisor's value has become more of a checklist than a direct source of value.

“At its core, being a Financial Advicer means being someone who is first and foremost in the business of financial advice (not financial products)..." according to the Kitces.com “Financial Advicer Manifesto. The AdviceTech Competition’s goal is to turn a spotlight on the tech and solutions that support real Financial Advicers and make delivering real financial advice more efficient, profitable, or impactful for clients.

The Criteria

The technology must be for Financial "Advicers" (those in the business of providing financial advice for a fee) and support running a business where financial advice, and the Financial Advicers themselves, are the primary value. Finalists will be selected based on how well their technology offering fits the theme by supporting the businesses of financial advicers.

To enter, applicants must meet one or more of the following requirements:

Be an existing company with a new offering, substantively different from its existing solutions, that is independently priced
→

Have less than $1 million in revenue
→

Launched in the last 12 months

→

An invitation to showcase with a 7-minute demo to the XYPN LIVE audience and panel of advicetech industry influencers

Two complimentary Exhibit Hall passes for XYPN LIVE 2024
→

Discounted XYPN LIVE 2024 booth space
→

Advance promotion by XYPN through multiple channels including social media
