A Virtual Conference, Explained.

Like event organizers around the globe, we regrettably have to put our contingency plan in place for our favorite time of the year, #XYPNLIVE. This means we will gather together virtually instead of in person in Denver. The XYPN team will greatly miss giving our annual hugs and high fives, especially in such turbulent times when we need each other most.
 
Rest assured, the XYPN team is full steam ahead on preparing a unique and valuable virtual conference, #XYPNLIVE(ish). Will it be the same gathering we all love? No. Will it be worthwhile? Absolutely. You can expect to share laughs and ideas with your community, learn and lean in, and spend a few days working on your business rather than in your business.
 

 
You likely have a lot of questions. We will be in close communication with you as we solidify details. Here's what we know:
 
 

If I don’t want to attend virtually, can I get a refund?
Yes, full refunds are available through August 31, 2020. No questions asked.

Is the virtual conference the same price as the live event?
No. #XYPNLIVE(ish) passes are $174 for members and $299 for non-members of XYPN.

What if I already paid more for an #XYPNLIVE pass?
Based on when you purchased your pass, you will receive an email asking you to inform us of your decision to attend #XYPNLIVE(ish). At that time, you may request a full refund to cancel, or you may elect to receive a partial refund for the difference between your #XYPNLIVE and #XYPNLIVE(ish) passes. In the interest of making lemonade from lemons, you will also have a third option to donate the difference to one of these causes:

  • Feeding America COVID-19 Response Fund
  • UndocuBlack Network
  • Foundation for Financial Planning

When will I be able to get a refund or a pass for the virtual conference?

To ensure smooth and accurate transactions, we will process requests in waves based on the price you paid for your pass:

  • If you paid the Earliest Bird member rate of $174, you will receive an email on Wednesday, June 24
  • If you paid the Earlier Bird member rate of $224, you will receive an email on Thursday, June 25
  • If you paid the Early Bird member rate of $274, you will receive an email on Friday, June 26

Please be ready on your assigned date to let us know your preference. Our Finance Team is hoping to process full and partial refunds within 24 hours of receiving your request, with funds back in your hands within 5-7 days.

What are the dates of the virtual event?

#XYPNLIVE(ish) will happen the same week as originally planned, with an adjusted schedule. Monday, October 12–Wednesday, October 14, we’ll offer 4 hours each day of content and activities. Thursday, October 15–Friday, October 16 are reserved for the post-cons-formerly-known-as-pre-cons.

What should I do about my hotel reservation?

To cancel your reservation, either log in to your Marriott Rewards account or call Central Reservation at 888.236.2427. If you experience any issues canceling your reservation, please send an email to GroupServicesDenver@Sheraton.com.

Am I out the money I paid for my flight?

We’re hopeful you won’t take a loss if you’ve already booked a flight. We’ve found most airlines currently have refund or credit options for cancelled plans based on when you purchased your ticket.

Will the Virtual Pass be available after the event this year through XYPN Academy?

Recordings of the three keynotes and the Ask Me Anything sessions will be made available to #XYPNLIVE(ish) attendees. Because of the interactive and virtual nature of the breakout sessions this year, recordings will not be made available.

What’s the plan for #XYPNLIVE 2021?

We still have our sights set on Denver—after all, they say the best things in life are worth waiting for.
